CONCEALED CRIMES: Shining Light on Sex, Strangulation, Suffocation, & Staged Crime Scenes is a 2-day interactive training with a focus on Human Trafficking, Strangulation/Suffocation, and Staged Crime Scenes. Attendees will investigate real crime scenes, learn specific strategies for investigating human trafficking cases, and gain insight into the mind and behaviors of a mass murderer. The SART Symposium 2024 will be an extraordinary opportunity to learn from internationally recognized experts in forensic science, human trafficking and trauma-informed investigations.
A pre-conference training is being offered on April 24th, 2024 from 8a - 4p*. This training will be a 7-hr. course on the Forensic Evaluation of Gunshot Wounds: An Application for Domestic and Officer-Involved Shootings. This course is tailored for forensic nurses and law enforcement. This activity has been approved for 6.5 CEs through the OBN Approver at NSCC (OBN-008-92-2252-01292024 SEATING IS LIMITED

Meals and snacks will be provided.
