TexasOpenFire.org Presents Grilling for Good 2022 Open Fire BBQ Charity Event
Doors open at 12 noon with beverage services, ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ Food service is between 4-8pm. Live music throughout the day.
TexasOpenFire.org is hosting our first EPIC "Grilling for Good" gala at Random Beer Garden September 17th 2022. We are a non-profit that cooks and serves BBQ for first responders via local events all year. This event is to fund raise to support our future first responder grilling events planned in 2022 thru the next event gala.

This event will feature BBQ exhibitions from Social Media BBQ Celebrity influencers cooking and demonstrating their Open Fire BBQ skills. These BBQ influencers amass over 260,000 Instagram followers, and 3.3 million Tik Tok followers. The menu will feature traditional Texas BBQ food and Open fire grilling of whole animals, including a steer, goats, pigs, alligators, and rattlesnake.
We will have live music, a Silent Auction (featured item is a Guitar signed for us by George Strait), and we will have many local vendor booths for the top brands in BBQ and other industries.

We are a group of professionals from various industries that share the common love of open fire grilling. We formed our Non-Profit Charity to grill and give back to the community. We call this concept "Grilling for Good". We host events and cook for all first responders in Kendall County, including the Kendall County Sherriff's Office, Boerne Police Department, Boerne Fire Department. We are looking to expand our events to other community entities this year including the Boerne Battered Women's Shelter, Fair Oaks Police Department and aligned First Responders, Leon Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Kendall County Emergency Management, Berghiem Volunteer Fire Department, Comfort Volunteer Fire Department to name a few. We feel that something as simple as providing great BBQ shows recipients that that we care for them and their families and appreciate what they do for our community each day. We seek to expand our random acts of kindness through charitable works with emphasis in helping children, families, our communities, and our state.
