Over the past week, we have listened to feedback from the students and campus community about the Doctoral and Master’s Commencement Ceremony. The majority of respondents expressed concerns about the limited capacity of the Fieldhouse and the limited number of tickets we were able to provide each student. Our intention behind this ceremony is to celebrate the student’s accomplishments, as well as the support of their friends, family, and peers who helped them in their journey at UNCG. It is for that reason the Doctoral and Master’s Commencement Ceremony will be moved from the Fieldhouse to the Greensboro Coliseum arena on Thursday, May 4, at 10 a.m. As a result of changing location, there will be no limit on the number of guests, and no tickets will be required. Tickets that were previously distributed will no longer be needed.
