DONATION

This is NOT an entry ticket. This is a donation; AHF has always subsidised the ticket prices to make it as affordable as possible for everyone. We are requesting donations to help pay for the event and hopefully raise extra money for AHF. The basic donation is £5. Please select quantity to donate more. Thank you.

FAQs Frequently Asked Questions

Yup! For those early birds who buy their tickets in the first week can have one free entry if you are buying more than 4 tickets. Simply enter FAMILY in the coupon box and you will get the value of a ticket (£7.50) deducted from the total. You still need to select the total number of tickets you need, the £7.50 will be deducted from the total. For a family of 5, this would work out as a 20% discount!
Yes. The free ticket offer runs out on the 1st of June; however, the standard ticket price will remain at £7.50 until the end of June . The event management team will decide when the standard ticket sales come to an end after that point. Currently, the plan is to allow late buyers to purchase at £10 a ticket subject to availability - we will communicate this to AHF parents.
The ticket allows entry to the event and access to all activities. There will be no further charge for any of the activities. The ticket price does not include food.
Food will be available to purchase this year unlike previous years. We hold our hands up and admit the queues were terrible and putting up free food was a bad idea for so many people. The real problem was the surge of ticket purchases in the last 2 days leading to the event which meant we were caught off guard on things like food plans and the number catered for. With the change in pricing policy, we feel we will be far better prepared this year.
No. The event is open to all AHF members and their families. Under 2's will be allowed FREE entry.
We request you park further away and walk to avoid congestion on the day. The venue is situated on Lammack Road directly next to the Hare and the Hounds Pub. If you’re coming by car, you MUST park at Pleckgate High School and walk across the field (will be signposted - 5 minute walk).
Yes. We have arranged parking at Pleckgate High School, Pleckgate Road, Blackburn, BB1 8QA - please use this post code if using sat nav to get there. Disabled users can park at the QEGS facilities on Lammack Road but you will have to show the attendant your blue card to gain entry.
YES. If you purchase more than one ticket, you should have more than one QR code to scan on the day. E.g. If you buy 4 tickets, you should have 4 individual QR codes each with a unique text string under the code - you can't print the same ticket 4 times. Each ticket can only be scanned once.
Please email [email protected] with the name, email address and phone number used to make the purchase with exact details of the problem. Thank you.
We recommend you print the ticket to speed up entry and avoid problem on the day. It is possible for us to scan the tickets from your screen but we have struggled with some in the past.
No. It is possible you clicked on 'Email My Ticket' more than once and therefore received multiple emails but it will be the same ticket unless you purchased more than of course. To check, have a look at the text string under the QR code, it will be the same text if it is a copy of the same ticket. If the code is different, it is a separate ticket you would have paid for.
All our plans will be made according to the numbers we get in advance; cancellations could mean we end up out of pocket and therefore, as a general rule, tickets are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, and dependant on the number of tickets we end up selling, we may at our discretion offer a partial refund.
In the early days, we used to rely on donations from a few individuals to pay for the event and food. Over the years, as the numbers have grown, it has been difficult to find donors that could cover the cost of the whole event and therefore since last year, introduced an entry price. The money will first be used to cover the cost of all the activities and any food we have to purchase. Any surplus will go to the AHF charity.
